India — Don Bosco Cares for HIV-Infected Youngsters at Salem
(Tiruchy) The Salesian province of Tiruchy, India has opened Don Bosco Care Home at Nilavaarappatti, Salem on August 16, 2011. Thirty youngsters and boys, rejected by their families and society because of their status as HIV positive, now have a home.

many NGOs (Non-Governmental
Organizations) working very
diligently to help overcome
the spread of the disease, but

far faster than the efforts

Italy – Two Concerts to Help Children with HIV/AIDS
The Association for South India organized two concerts, Children for Children, in Rome, March 25th and 26th 2008 to raise funds for children in southern India who live on the streets and/or are infected with HIV/AIDS. They are cared for at the Don Bosco Institute in the Tiruchy Province in India.
